Seen as an expert in his field, he has demonstrated continued success in driving organizational profitability and business improvement particularly during periods of significant global challenges.

With 30+ years’ experience managing multiple concurrent projects for commercial, residential and mixed-use developments ranging from $100,000 to $3.5 billion in investment, Scot has a proven ability to establish robust controls across the entire investment life-cycle. Scot is an effective operational leader and strategic thinker with a well-developed analytical mindset capable of successfully identifying risks and opportunities.

Strategic leadership and expertise to turn around business performance for Itco Properties and the International Trust Company;
SNC Lavalin acquisition team member for Arcturus Realty Corporation;
Delivering a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of diverse projects in the Middle East and Eastern Europe with accountability for business development, P&L, project control and contract management;
Securing strategic options of $250+ million in cost savings for Bell Canada, SNC Lavalin and WorleyParsons through effective negotiation tactics, utilization strategies and property related cost management.

Scot has significant adjudicating experience as chairman of the Alberta Municipal Government Board, a quasi-judicial tribunal to settle assessment, development, planning, subdivision and inter municipal disputes and appeals. He has authored multiple MGB decisions, appeared as an expert witness and delivered major talks on key real estate issues.

Scot is currently a Director/Independent Trustee of Equiton Inc and the Chairman of the City of Chestermere Municipal Planning Commission and Human Services Advisory Boards.
